Participants

Registration

Participants will represent the broadest range and highest standards of Egyptology. Presentations are welcomed in the form of a 20 minute paper or a congress poster. The required title for participants who want to present a paper or a poster is a Master’s degree. Speakers and poster presenters are required to hold a valid membership of the International Association of Egyptologists.

Registration for speakers has closed on 1 October. Results of peer review (acceptance or non-acceptance of abstracts) have been communicated to all who submitted abstracts before that date.

Registration for poster presenters is open until 31 March 2023. Registration for attendance is open until 31 May 2023.

Abstracts for poster presentations, as well as registrations for attendance, can be submitted in the online registration form. Before registering, all participants should read the terms and conditions.

If and when their submitted abstract has been accepted (or, for attendees: after completing the registration form), participants may pay the registration fee in Euros through a bank transfer. Participants must pay all bank charges and online payment commissions. Egyptian nationals have the additional option of cash payment in Egyptian Pounds to the Netherlands-Flemish Institute in Cairo (NVIC). Speakers and poster presenters will be notified to pay the registration fee once their abstract is accepted.
