Speakers
Participants who present a paper at the congress have submitted an abstract of their paper when registering for the congress. The abstract should clearly indicate how the paper relates to a central theme of the congress as outlined in the mission statement. The congress fee for speakers depends on whether the speaker is a non-student with the Egyptian nationality, a non-student without the Egyptian nationality, or a student regardless of nationality. Speakers who register as a student will be required to submit proof of university enrolment. Accepted speakers
- Present their paper at the congress;
- May submit their paper for the congress proceedings;
- May attend all plenary and parallel congress sessions;
- Receive free admittance to the Rijksmuseum van Oudheden;
- May register for the congress dinner.
Poster presenters

- Present their poster at the congress;

Attendees
Attendees visit the congress without presenting a paper or a poster. The congress fee for attendees depends on whether the attendee registers for early or late registration, and whether the attendee is a non-student with the Egyptian nationality, a non-student without the Egyptian nationality, or a student regardless of nationality. Accompanying persons
Accompanying persons are not participants; they come with a partner (spouse, friend, …) who is a participant in the congress. Accompanying persons do not attend presentations – with the exception of their partner’s presentation. Accompanying persons

- May attend their partner’s presentation.
