Second Circular of the 13th International Congress of Egyptologists

The 13th International Congress of Egyptologists is entitled “The Future of Ancient Egypt” and aims to reflect current scholarship and to open a dialogue on Egyptology in a wider sense. The congress will be foremost a platform to present the latest research in Egyptology, showcasing current and future research within its many branches and beyond.

The Call for Papers is closed. The Call for Posters is open until 31 March 2023.

Booksellers are invited to register and present a book table. All participants are invited to register for the congress dinner on Thursday 10 August. We urge all participants in the congress to verify that they have the correct travel documents for a stay in the Netherlands. We advise participants to prepare for accommodation well in advance; participants and booksellers have special rates with six hotels, but Leiden has a limited number of hotel rooms.

Further details, registration fees, and deadlines can be found in the Second Circular.
