First Circular of the 13th International Congress of Egyptologists

The 13th International Congress of Egyptologists is entitled “The Future of Ancient Egypt” and aims to reflect current scholarship and to open a dialogue on Egyptology in a wider sense. The congress will be foremost a platform to present the latest research in Egyptology, showcasing current and future research within its many branches and beyond. 

The Call for Papers will open on the 6th of August 2022 (exactly one year before the start of ICE XIII). To submit an abstract, participants will have to complete the online registration form on the congress website before the 1st of October 2022. The congress languages are English, Arabic, French, and German, but all abstracts must be submitted in English or Arabic only. Submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed.
